Sorry about that!
I felt too jet-lagged last week to do things like taking photos and didn’t have much to blog about. Then just as I started feeling ok, I whizzed off to the Isle of Wight for the weekend so that Mr M and I could Walk the Wight, along with another friend.
We all got up at 5am yesterday morning, and got the 6.15 shuttle to the eastern side of the Isle of Wight. 11 hours and 26.8 miles later we made it to the western side of the Isle of Wight – footsore and exhausted. Not stretching before getting on the almost-last shuttle bus back was a mistake! All 3 of us were seized up by the time we got back to the car.
I’m actually feeling mostly recovered today apart from a little sunburn and muscle soreness.
In actutal knitting content, I worked on the fitted knits shrug in the car on the way to the ferry on friday afternoon, and finished it on Friday evening. I’m hoping to block it later tonight or tomorrow. I also worked on the neverending hedgerow socks.
Will post photos soon – I promise!
